I would not recommend Vertu Land Rover Leeds because
When we entered the showroom we was greeted by Rambir and he was excellent and not too pushy, we found the car we wanted and we purchased it.
On collection of the car it wasn’t correctly valeted and there was some noticeable marks on the body and central compartment draw was broken. There was a number of calls back and fourth to Landrover regarding issues to be told by one of there employees that they wouldn’t be correcting the defects to the body, further to this I went down with the car and ask for used car sales manager Simon and he was very apologetic and was disappointed in how the issues had been dealt with. A week later Simon had the car booked and all the issues resolved.
As a customer of landrover for the past 8 years using 3 different showrooms my first opinion on the after customer care was terrible and if it wasn’t for Simon I would have sent the car back.

I rang up to arrange a test drive on a Approved Defender and spoke to Sarah. It was easy to arrange this and Sarah spent as much time as needed with no pressure, covering everything we asked. We decided to go ahead with a purchase and after sales service has also been excellent.

The initial contact was dealt with extremely well by Hannah.
The handover from Hannah was also in depth and extremely well done.
During the handover I noticed two marks in the centre of the windscreen which looked like residue and both the sales person and I assumed that this was residue and missed by the detail team however it was actually two scratches each approx 2-3cm long and approx 50mm wide. When I reported this to Vertu I was asked to bring the vehicle back (3 hour round trip) to investigate. When I attended on 14th April I was met by Simon Sales Mgr, he took the car over to service/detail team to investigate. The result was yes it was scratched glass and that they did not believe it could be polished out and it was not noticed when selling the vehicle although it was noticed by myself and Hannah. I was advised that it would most likely not be covered under warranty and therefore process was not straight forward. Advice was to claim on my own insurance and they would give me the excess towards it. Additionally when I took delivery upon returning home I went to to the screen wash up only to find the blue cap missing, furthermore the region around the oil fill cap was covered in oil residue.
Despite loving the actual vehicle the experience was not what I would expect when purchasing a £70k + vehicle.
I have to say despite Hannah being excellent I will not return to Vertu and will utilise another main Landrover dealer for any warranty issues.
Rather sad as have purchased vehicles from other Vertu garages in the past.
